How much would it cost to buy a geinea pig and all of the requirments?

Depends where you buy it. People on Craigslist and Petfinder etc are often giving guinea pigs away for cheap or close to nothing. A lot of them will include the cage and maybe even some food/hay. There is usually an adoption fee though, but not bad. Smaller petstores will sell guinea pigs anywhere from $6-$25. Petsmart usually sells them for $35 (too much!). The cages are expensive and you need to make sure your cage is big enough. Pets stores often sell them for around $40-$80. Buying them used from somewhere like the first places I listed is going to be the most affordable, or look into building your own -- good %26quot;cubes and chloroplast guinea pig cage%26quot;. You also need to constantly buy bedding, hay, and food for your pigs... which isn't too much but it adds up!
