How much would it cost to build a wooden ship?
I want to either build a ship or buy one. I don't mean a boat, I mean a ship! Big, made of wood, kinda like you would see in Pirates of the Caribean, but not so...Ornate. I'm not too sure about the size, but maybe 24 by 8? Large enough to be able to have maybe 10-15 people moving freely. The front would come to a point, the railing would be like poles with a handrail, the back would tower above the deck, with a door leading to below deck and with stairs to on top of this area, and below deck with the same shape as the deck, minues the towering part and about 6-7 feet tall, if possible with a 3rd deck with a bit of walking room. There would be no mast or sails. Hopefully this makes a basic picture of waht I mean. Can anyone tell me how much it would cost to build, or have someone build, a ship like this made out of a lightweight wood like pine. You might also consider taking Transavia form Verona.

It's a long trip, but doesn't require any train changes. http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepag The price depends on what kind of ticket you buy. The standard price for a second class seat is 144 euro; if the %26quot;Smart fare%26quot; discount hasn't sold out for your travel date, you can get the same seat for 29 euro. I would recommend a berth though - 160 euro at the standard fare, but as low as 49 euro at the Smart price. There are discount tickets available for the end of the month right now. This train will be discontinued for the summer after the end of May though. Then the best option would be to go through Zurich, taking the night train from there. Options through Paris will require you to transfer from the Paris Lyon station to the Paris Nord station to get a train to Amsterdam. One other way to send text overseas is to use Skype, it costs 7p per text to Greece. The only thing is you need a computer or smartphone (HTC, Droid, iPhone) for it. The msg your friend will receive will say its from your phone number so they can reply directly back to your phone.
