I'm thinking about buying a 1998 Honda CR-V 4x4 EX; but i saw that it was manual, i didnt know how much i'd cost if i paid for it to be a automatic?

Just find an auto-trans model if that's what you want. A rough guesstimate on price to convert from manual to auto at a decent shop that could do it correctly would be ~$4000, maybe more. There's a lot of labor involved in doing something like that and transmissions themselves aren't cheap either.
