How to get from Newark Liberty Airport to Manhattan?

I am traveling to New York and I can only afford hotels in Newark Liberty Area. Is it easy to get to Manhattan from near Newark? And how much would it cost using the bus/subway one way/round trip? How to get from Newark Liberty Airport to Manhattan?Newark Airport is a 20 minute train ride from Manhattan. If your hotel has a shuttle bus service, you can take the shuttle bus to the Newark Airtrain station P4, where a connection can be made to the Newark Airport monorail.

Take the monorail from the airport to the Newark-Liberty Airport train station where transfer can be made to NJ Transit commuter rail services to Penn Station New York. The one way fare on the NJ Transit from Newark Airport to the City is $15 ($30 round trip).

Good luckHow to get from Newark Liberty Airport to Manhattan?Cheapest way is bus. not sure what it costs. You can also catch the subway or ferry too which are a little more. If you get a 10 trip for both ways you can save more money as well. How to get from Newark Liberty Airport to Manhattan? The quickest way is to take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor or North Jersey Coast Line train to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. If you are trying to get to another location in Manhattan, transfer to the NYC Subway. It will cost you $15 for the train and $2.25 for the subway for a total of $17.25.

If you want to save money, take the NJ Transit #62 bus to Newark Penn Station and take the PATH to Lower Manhattan (transfer at Grove Street if you want Midtown Manhattan). It will cost you $1.50 for the bus and $1.75 for the PATH, for a total of $3.25 (Plus $2.25 for the NYC Subway if you have to transfer to it).

The way in the middle is to take the #62 bus to Newark Penn Station and then take the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor or North Jersey Coast Line train to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. Once again, this will take you only to Midtown Manhattan. This will cost you $1.50 for the bus and $5 for the train, for a total of $6.50 (once again, the NYC Subway is $2.25)

You can get discounts if you plan on using this way frequently. Weekly, biweekly, and monthly discounts are offered, as well as discounts for by-the-ride users.

Hope this helps.
